Join us for a traditional Scottish Hogmanay and celebrate in style!
Sunday 30th December - Arrive 2pm Onwards - check in, unpack and relax. Gather in the lounge at 7.30pm for a traditional dram with our compliments. We begin our celebrations at 8pm with a 4-course Highland Gala Candlelit Dinner in the Abernethy Restaurant followed by live Scottish entertainment when you can dance the night away.
Monday 31st December - Hogmanay Relax after breakfast, from 8am-9.30am, with a free morning to explore the wonderful scenery of Abernethy and Strathspey. Be sure to work up an appetite as tonight is Hogmanay - a truly Scottish festive activity. Highland dress is not mandatory, however many guests will wish to do so and we positively encourage you to follow suit. Gather in the main lounge at 7.30pm for a glass of bubbly with our compliments. At 8pm our piper will announce dinner and you will take your seats for our 6-course Grand Hogmanay Gala Candlelit Banquet. After dinner, dance the old year out and the new one in with our live entertainment. Enjoy a complimentary dram around midnight as you watch the firework display.
Tuesday 1st January 2013 - New Years Day HAPPY NEW YEAR! Enjoy a lie-in before a hearty brunch at 10am-12noon. Morning coffee and mince pies will be available for those early risers. 12noon will see the charity Haggis Hurling Competition commence. This annual event is not only for a great cause, but it is terrific fun and a chance for some fresh air and a spot of exercise for those taking part! Our Ne’er Day Candlelit Dinner begins at 8pm. There will be music and dancing tonight with the fabulous Marlettes.
Wednesday 2nd January - Depart Enjoy your breakfast before we bid you a leisurely farewell and our best wishes for 2013.
