A traditional Scottish Hogmanay. Very popular - so book fast!
Friday 30th December - Arrive Once you are settled, join us for Afternoon Tea in Reid's Bar from 3pm-5pm. Get your Jumbo Quiz forms from reception - winners announced on Saturday night. A Scottish themed carvery dinner this evening will be followed by dancing to the Jack Delaney Scottish Dance Band. A touch of tartan and a dram for everyone.
Saturday 31st December - Hogmanay Start the day with a hearty Scottish Breakfast. A light buffet lunch will be served from 12.30pm-1.30pm. Be sure to keep some space though and join us from 6pm for a glass of bubbly and canapés before our Gala Hogmanay Dinner. Dancing tonight is to our amazing regulars, the Coutts Ceilidh Band, taking us through until 1am. Of course there will be a visit from the local Piper to welcome in 2012 and look out for a gift from the hotel in your room!
Sunday 1st January 2012 HAPPY NEW YEAR! No need to get up early – a leisurely Brunch with a glass of bucks fizz will be served from 10am until midday. Enjoy a morning stroll down by the River Tay then join us back at the hotel at 2pm to be entertained with some table magic by ‘Magic Delboy’ followed by a light finger buffet with tea and coffee. Enjoy a glass of fruit punch before this evening’s Grand Carvery of Local Roasts at 6.30pm followed by dancing to ‘Easy Street’.
Monday 2nd January - Depart Enjoy a hearty full breakfast before we bid you a fond farewell and our best wishes for 2012.
