Salutation Hotel Retains HealthyLiving Award

We are very proud to announce that in August 2011, the Salutation Hotel was re-assessed, and successfully achieved the Healthy Living Award for another year.
In June 2008, the hotel was initially awarded the healthyliving award from the Scottish Consumer Council.
The award reflects the commitment and hard work of General Manager, Gordon Paterson, and his dedicated team of chefs headed by Robert Cumming (resident for over 30 years) have given to ensure their dishes are prepared using healthier ingredients and cooking methods. The green apple symbol appears on the menus next to dishes indicating which are the healthier options.
The healthyliving award has more than 800 businesses registered and is open to all catering establishments, devoted to making food offered healthier by encouraging broad improvements to the way it is prepared.
